Sensor for Determining Concentration of Binary Liquids – Get your fully customized sensors designed by m-u-t – 100% rolling stock compliant.

The physical measuring principle is the measurement of the optical density of liquids.
Typical applications are:

  • antifreeze in motor coolant
  • water in oil
  • uric acid in water
  • SCR application (ref. AdBlue®)
  • gas in diesel
  • oil viscosity
  • and many others

Here we show you our latest sensor design for OEM applications: The sensor measures less than 40mm in length and it is threaded M12x1 outside. You just need a DC power supply (24V ± 40%, max. 10mA). There are two outputs with opposite polarity (24VDC, max. 50mA). We can provide other interfaces on request as well (4-20mA, HART, CAN, LIN, MODBUS, etc.). The operating temperature range is -25°C . +85°C (-40C° upon request). The sensor complies with European standards EN 50121-3-2, EN 45545-2 and Chinese standards as well (GB/T 24338.4-2009).
